Role: Client Engagement Director

The Client Engagement Director is a senior client relationship role at Code and Theory. Client Engagement Directors grow our business. They possess a strong understanding of strategic business issues and have the initiative to lead their clients and teams to innovative solutions. The right person must bring a mindset of service and problem-solving. In order to accomplish this they must have an understanding of strategic issues from the client side and be able to suggest solutions that bring clarity.

Experience:
-Minimum 10 years of interactive experience
-Solid understanding of Healthcare / Pharma / Diagnostics market space, OR FMCG
-Deep marketing background including traditional and direct
-Knowledgeable in multiple experience design digital platforms: video, interactive television, web design and usability, interactive advertising, mobile, user interface design
-Comfort in both "left" and "right" brain environments
-Well versed in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer issues

Job Responsibilities:

Client Management:
-Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers in client organization
-Proactively provide subject matter and business analyst advisory services to clients and team members
-Set appropriate client expectations
-Develop and maintain effective, thoughtful status communication mechanism for clients

People Management:
-Provide overall leadership to account support teams
-Work with delivery team to ensure quality, timeliness and profitability of project execution
-Provide quality assurance of all significant client deliverables
-Work with client as appropriate to resolve project risks
-Set and manage account team dynamic, execute performance reviews

Financial Management:
-Help negotiate contracts and ensure contracts are processed and execute
-Invoicing and collections – ensure invoices are sent, received, processed and paid
-Regularly communicate relationship’s financial status to key audiences
-Leverage customer successes to engage new business development opportunities

Thought Leadership:
-Proactively engage clients with innovative ideas
-Lead internal teams towards bringing new initiatives to our clients.
-Develop industry-specific insights on best practices, author white papers and speaking engagements

Location NY with 25% travel to client locations.
