Account Executive
Beliefnet.com, the leading online spirituality destination is looking for an experienced Account Executive. This position is responsible for managing and developing strategic business relationships with top tier companies and ad agencies to increase ad sales revenue in the New York region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key strategic sales relationships with clients while maximizing marketing exposure of brand.
- Prospect, qualify and close sales with a large number of advertisers to drive revenue.
- Negotiate pricing and volume requirements.
- Campaign management to ensure quality and volume parameters are met.
- Maintain ongoing relationships existing clients.
- Resolve client and campaign issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of internet sales and agency contacts required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an evolving marketplace.
- Ability to network in local markets.
- Excellent customer service, client retention, presentation and writing skills.
- Highly articulate with clear speaking and writing skills.
- Experience with managing contacts and schedules with ACT Database, Salesforce or similar CRM.
